Snacks within the 100-calorie mark

My snacks tend to be between 100-300 calories.  To allow for flexibility, here’s a few snack-ideas which are 100 kcals or less.  Hope you find them more exciting than your usual Special K bar 😆

  1. 1/4 an avocado mashed on 1 Ryvita
  2. Banana ‘ice cream’: freeze 1 medium banana, then add a few splashes of milk and whizz in blender
  3. 1 pear with 2 tablespoons of low fat cottage cheese
  4. 90g grilled chicken breast
  5. 12 olives in brine
  6. 1 hard-boiled egg+1 rice cake
  7. 150g low-/non-fat yogurt
  8. 1 apple + teaspoon of peanut butter (or half an apple with 2 teaspoons of peanut butter)
  9. 3 cups air-popped popcorn
  10. Carrot sticks with few tablespoons salsa
  11. Skinny latte/cappuccino from any coffee-shop
  12. 14 almonds
  13. 1 toasted crumpet and 1 tspn low-fat grated cheese
  14. Punnet of strawberries
  15. Half a tin of chickpeas, roasted
  16. 5 turkey+cheese roll-ups: use 5 wafer thin slices of turkey and 2 Laughing Cow light cheese triangles
  17. 28 grapes, frozen (tastes like sorbet!)
  18. ½ medium cantaloupe
  19. 45 steamed edamame
  20. 1/2 red bell pepper dipped in 2 tablespoons hummus
  21. 1 oven-baked apple with stuffed with cinnamon+1 tablespoon raisins
  22. 4 pieces of tuna or salmon nigri
  23. 1 tablespoon of wholegrain cereal stirred in a small pot of low-fat yogurt

Cereal bar anyone? 😉
