Magazines- gotta love ‘em…I know I do. Dorky or not, I get excited when a new issue is out on the shelf/reaches my doorstep. Although I’ll glance through just about anything, my regular reads include:
- Runners’ World
Notice how 75% of those are health-related? Over the years, I’ve read countless articles/tips/success stories and if you would also like to read them, please come to my bedroom. No the invite to my room was not a booty call ;)! It’s more to do with the pile of magazines in my room that is ever-growing. What can I say- whether it’s with clothes or magazine, I’m a hoarder: I have an issue with letting go.
Anyway so you can imagine my excitement when I featured in the 2011 issue of Shape Middle East. Yup, that’s right :)! They contacted me via my blog and obviously I jumped at the chance. Plus at least I can knock off something from my Life Bucket List: get my name published’
Here’s the article. Before you read it, I just wanted to clear a few things up:
- I ate a lot pre-weight loss but not 6,000 calories worth…that’s pretty damn difficult!
- I heard about Weight Watchers from my dad who previously lost weight with it. My mom was the one who actually accompanied me and initially followed it with me. Classic case of ‘Momma knows best’…
