Do you check your horoscope daily? I’m slightly skeptical about the accuracy of horoscopes. Whether I believe in them or not depends on the day. If what I’m reading is positive or if I can find some way, any way, to relate it to my life I’ll take it. Otherwise, I just laugh them off and ‘wonder who comes up with this crap’.
My fellow Geminis and I apparently have a split personality and seek balance . I do find that to be somewhat accurate. For example, I go through extreme phases: for X amount of time, I absolutely love something but soon enough, I want nothing to do with it. Anyone remember the Timberland boots? During my “I’m such a gangster” days, I was sort of obsessed with them to the point that I actually owned three pairs. Now, the only reason I would consider purchasing a pair is if camping was on the agenda…which it probably won’t be anytime soon!
As for balance, I’d like to think I’m a somewhat balanced in all aspects of life…or at least try to be. As for food, I am definetely more of a sweet rather than savoury person. That being said, I do love sweet and salty combinations. What can I say…I like to maintain a balance of flavours ;). I know not everyone is a fan but I just love how each bite is like a lucky dip, you just don’t know what’s coming next. Take the following:
- Yogurt/chocolate covered pretzels
- Sweet and salty popcorn at the cinema (fully sweet gets sickly halfway through and fully salt is too dehydrating)
- Apple and balsamic vinegar
- Pear and cottage/cheddar cheese
- Peanut butter & banana sandwiches
- Trail mix
- Honey glazed carrots
- Teriyaki anything
If you also appreciate the hybrid of flavours, try out my latest salad. When it comes to salads, they always seem to taste better when someone else makes it…but not this salad. It is pretty much rocking a fusion of delicious flavours. It’s pretty to look at, yummy to eat, and easy to recreate. I just posted the recipe for this Pomegranate Salad here.
