If we were having coffee III

Hey guys! It’s been a hot minute since I last blogged.  Truth be told, I don’t even know where to start as I feel like my mind is floating with so many updates & blog post ideas.  While there’s no way I can pack it all in one post (at least not without going off on a mega tangent), I’ll try to catch you up to speed. Grab yourself a coffee and let’s get chatting:

If we were having coffee, you’d probably be well aware how I’m pretty ‘boring’ when it comes to ordering coffee: filter (or Americano) with a side of cold soy milk. However if almond milk is an option, I’m quite partial to the occasional cappuccino.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my brother just got married in Paris which was an amazing few days all round.  Times like these really fill you up with so much gratitude and love for the people & good vibes around you.

If we having coffee, I’d tell you that despite the exceptional food I ate at the wedding, my most memorable meal in Paris was my lunch the day after the wedding: a ham & cheese baguette…so simple yet so epic!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve switched up my workouts in London and am loving the change.  Although heavy lifting is my favorite, the size of my gym & lack of certain equipment makes it difficult.  As a result, I’ve been focusing on lighter weights with higher reps and also adding in plyometric exercises.

If we were having coffee, I’d probably sing the nursery rhyme ‘Where is Thumbkin to you given it’s been stuck in my head for the past 3 weeks.  As much as I love my baby nephew, his choice of music is questionable.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that here has certainly been no shortage of delicious food eaten in London.  I’d then also go on to tell you that you must try Black Roe and order the lobster & crab potstickers.

If we were having coffee, I’d ask whether you’ve seen Bad Moms yet? If you say no, I will strongly urge you to go and do so, especially if you’re looking for a light-hearted & lol-worthy entertainment.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about my new grocery staple: LivLife seeded bread.  Marketed as a low-carb bread (3.8g per slice), I especially love that it’s naturally high in protein compared to regular bread (6.7g per slice).  If you’re a texture freak like me, you must get your hands on a loaf ASAP!

If we were having coffee, I’d ask whether you remember the skin issue I battled with some time ago? Although coconut oil definitely triggered the breakouts, stopping it wasn’t enough to cure the help improve my case.  However  I’d then breathe a sigh of relief and tell you that those days are fortunately long gone and be more than willing to share more details if that’s something you’re interested in?

If we were having coffee, what would you tell me?

Let me know if you guys want me to do a blog post with a skin update!
