Scenes of Singapore

I’m a sucker for clichés, i.e. guilty of overuse.  If I could choose one to describe my life right now, it would be Time flies when you’re having fun.  The 5 days I spent in Singapore flew by and yet I feel like I managed to fit in a lot in such a short period of time.  I:

  • Visited some of my favorite people
  • Met their friends
  • Engaged in active sightseeing with a few breathtaking runs in the Botanic Gardens

  • Ate plenty of delectable food
  • Indulged in some retail therapy

  • Made multiple attempts at wake-boarding, and finally stood on the board for all of 10 seconds before face-planting back into the water

  • Played endless rounds of my new favorite drinking game: Sabotage a.k.a Word Snake

And…

  • Concluded that I have no choice but to make Singapore an annual vacay 🙂

Fortunately leg 2 of my trip is off to an equally great start: Guangzhou, baby!

What’s the last memorable trip you took?

  1. SO FUN! I can’t wait to hear more about your trip, K!!

And the last memorable trip I took was to Miami for my bachelorette party. 😉

  2. Looks like you had so much fun. The martinis look great. And I give you credit for going out into the ocean like that, I can’t swim, let alone do what you did. I need to learn how to swim.
My last memorable trip was Spain/France/Italy – I love Europe! 🙂

  3. Wow looks like you had a amazing trip. Lovely pics and all I have to say is mmmm food and drinks…. awesome! The last memorable trip was Paris, France, its so gorgeous! Btw, glad you tried wake boarding, looks pretty difficult 🙂

    Have a good week!

  4. Looks like you had a wonderful time!!
I would love to visit Singapore someday..
My last memorable trip was Belize, I went with my family 🙂 It was the first time to travel far with the baby, it sure was different with the little one!

  5. Whoa – all that food!!! I’d love to go to that part of the world one day.

The best trip I’ve taken recently was this past weekend to the Blend Retreat. Love meeting blog-friends in “real life.”

  6. I’ve never been to Singapore but it sounds like you had such an awesome holiday! Good food, good company, the beach and shopping = a definite winner in my eyes 😉 Plus I applaud you for trying wake boarding, a friend of mine got into a bad accident doing it during high school which has scared me off ever since.

  7. I LOVE Singapore! I’ve only ever been there during layovers on our trips to India (so it was never a destination/vacation spot for us) but I would love to actually go back and spend some time there somre day.

  8. Ohhh I can’t wait to get there!! We’re only in Singapore for 2 days but I’m so looking forward to the food and shopping!!! Will need you tell me where to go 😀
