Time for a facelift

Before you get any ideas, the post title is referring to my blog, not me!!  If you’re a regular reader (which I hope you are & if not, what’s your excuse ;)), you’ll notice that I’ve gradually been making changes to my blog.  First it was just about getting the blog up and running as opposed to the actual blog layout.  Now that I’ve been blogging for about 7 months, I’d like to think I’ve become somewhat more techy savvy…yes yes, that’s my way of sugar coating the fact that I’m becoming a computer geek :roll:.  Do I dare admit that I’m actually familiar with terms such as ‘Akismet’ and ‘widgets’!! 

Errr anyway, so my latest amendment is the blog header.  Rather than just contain something that looks ‘pretty’ to the eye, I’ve customised it so that it actually includes a few of my favourite foods/drinks.  As you can see, I’m no saint- I love eating wholesome, healthy produce but I do also have a sweeter than sweet tooth which I regularly adhere to.  Here are some of my current favourites…the good, the bad, and the ugly:

  • Oats (i.e. the ugly…hence its lack of appearance on the header)
  • Apples
  • Alpro soy yogurt
  • Carrots
  • Arrabiata sauce
  • Houmous
  • Peanut butter
  • Cheesecake
  • Tea, any kind
  • Salmon avocado makis
  • Chocolate chip cookies
  • Flaked almonds
  • Vanilla ice cream (I’m a Plain Jane with my ice cream)
  • Butternut squash

    Loving the new website layout – blog really looking great. One thing I just cant live without out is peanut butter – enjoy it on my oat pancakes, with my cereal and yogurt (keeps me full for like 5hrs) and as a sauce on my noodles. My other favorite is 0% greek yogurt. 2 things i can really eat any time of the day!! Hope you had a safe flight to mumbai and enjoyed all your in-flight treats:)

    The facelift looks great so far!- props to the surgeon ;)…. anndd this blog is extremely addictive and absolutely inspirational if I haven’t said so already!!
    As for a few of my favourites..
    Peanutbutter (how can anyone not love it!! even better on apples!)
    sushii!! (minus the fish ofcourse :s)
    granola (with flavoured yogurt)
    FROZEN YOGURTTT (im absolutely obsessed!! piled high w/ fruits and almonds!)
    colourful cupcakes (more to look at than anything else)
    greek salad (soo refreshing)

    andd thats about it for now i think…
    keep doing what ur doing!!

    My current favorites right now:

    Peanut butter-WITH ANYTHING-toast,oats,apples,chocolate,cereal
    Stewed apples-great for a snack at work!
    Low fat blueberry yogurt-try putting some fresh/frozen blueberries tastes incredible
    Steamed Edamame
    Salmon+Tuna Sushi-Got to love it in Japan 🙂
